Good morning everyone just waking up. :frow

The roof is a HUGE change to the chicken run. We used 30 2x4's in the framing of it. I really hope my hens don't hate me for taking away so much sunshine.

I am going to remove an 8' tall lilac to let a bit more sun in. It will also open up my view of the birds so that will be nice.

We are forecast for rain today so we will see how that goes.

Adding a run, a nest box accessible from outside, and a cold baffle pop door to the hoop coop.

Duck house and pool will go here. The duck house will be 30" outside and 30" inside the chain link fence line. I am moving that fence......

Oh and the terror they feel is sad to me.

Derps go through it too though for a couple weeks even though technically im a funny looking chicken mom. to them .

Bribe them with treats. I feed the chicks scrambled egg treats by hand every night. They love it!
