Official Squatch Watchers

The kids called those that went so long the "fat biddies". I roasted them like turkeys, better than turkey. Some were only 8 lbs dressed, but a couple were over 10 lbs. I would do it again, but they are not rec'd for high altitudes like Prescott.
What about Freedom Rangers or something similar? I wonder how my heritage Cornish would do out there.

Woah was I busy today! Channeled more Squatcher energy for sure. Got the run on the medium coop together. Cause I had birds that needed it....

Met a friend out at a Silkie farm last night. They lady is downsizing her breeding to focus on other colors. Between us we bought almost every bird she had for sale.

These four came home with me. The little grey in the front is spoken for.

This is Sunny! She is a frizzle silkie x oegb mix. She is the cutest little stinker. I couldn't resist her.

This handsome feather duster doesn't have a name yet. He is a Creole Satin Frizzle. The colors and markings on him are just amazing. (Cause I needed another rooster) Yes he is facing the camera, I'm pretty sure....🤣

And the basement flock. Pinky is Definitely a boy! Those waddles dropped the other day. Still just love him.

Then there are Swedish Flowers, some Americaunas, Brains butt is in that picture. They move so fast I can hardly get photos.

I need to get the small coop together so it can be for grow outs. My basement smells like chickens.

I need to mow my lawn still. Maybe when I get home from work.....:tongue by far my least favorite chore.
Um, Nunny....? I think that breeder sold you a tribble 🤣

I got this far today. That base came out square even using pallets! Color me shocked!
