Official Squatch Watchers

What a difference a day makes. Here they are yesterday, 3 days old, checking out the first chunk of grass that they have ever seen. One days worth of poop! They needed the grass, because they were picking at each other's beginning wing feathers & the one with poopy but was getting picked on. This gives them something else to destroy and they get the fine dirt and goodies from the roots, too. The brooder is in my "evolving" She Shed/workshop.

Dry and hot out here. We got "rain" the other night but not enough to actually water anything but very shallow rooted things.

I should run the sprinkler.....but I am waiting on a part for my weed eater. It should come today. If it does I will water this evening. Until then.... I will continue on my workshop. It is....a hot mess. I have a plan.....sort of.....
This is my little victory garden before the rain started.

Portions of my garden are in between since I pulled out things that were bolting. Yours looks really good!

I had a poor sprout on my corn but still have some.....I only hope they are close enough together to pollinate well. I AM seeing a lot of things take off growing which is nice. I got my first cucumber a few days ago.

I should plant my empty spots with quick growing things. :hmm
Maybe a few cabbage, some sort of lettuce (if I give it shade) and turnips even though I am the only one that will eat those.

I bet my birds would help with the turnip tops though.

Little sassy pants bottom right giving you the eye made me laugh!
I know, I should have a toe punch to mark the ones that look like little boys from day 5! You can see the full crop on both of them. They were interested in the shiny glass camera and the auto-focus beam catches their attention.

Good afternoon folks :frow Sue took a lap to and from the bathroom today with a walker. She didn't have to go, just a path in the tiny step down room.

Awesome!
How's she doing communicating?
She's doing really well but still has issues. She'll say a sentence and a word will be wrong or out of place and she get's really frustrated. She's also having issues with spelling, which frustrate her as well. There are also some short term memory issues but they are less and less every day.

Great to hear such good progress!:celebrate
