Well I got everybody dusted, iv'e never had so many sets of eyes give me the same offended look.
Kim freaked the heck out, pretty much had to put her in a headlock and Prince twitters when his butt gets touched so that is awkward.
Im hoping he's just ticklish.
I will say that rooster has the most plush soft booty out there, you'd swear it was a hen tush.:)

How are your birds doing, Rae?
Well enough. I have a mess of Cornish chicks growing up. I’ve honestly lost count. I really need to cull and sell but I can’t even think about slaughtering right now.

For guineas, I had 6 that were about 2 weeks old, someone came by yesterday to get them. And one got out of the box and ran away. I gave that one up for lost. At lunch time today, my FIL found it trying to get into one of the tractors with the chicks and caught it again. I should have more guineas hatch next week. So maybe I can sell it then. I’m probably going to shut down hatching soon. I am feeling rather Bleh.

Question for you guys. Automatic egg turners. Do you all have a favorite design? I'm considering getting one. Especially if I plan on hatching a lot of quail.
There is the kind that I'm used to that has the little egg trays with the basket that the exits into rock back and forth. But there's also some that use just rolling pen looking things where are the eggs just sit in between two cylinders and I'm assuming those cylinders rotate to rotate the egg. And there's another one I've seen that has slats and an elongated paddle like design that somehow rotates the eggs.

The Freestyle Libre sensors don't come off easily, and there are a lot of things you can get to help keep them from getting caught on things it it's a problem. Infections are rare, you clean the application sight thoroughly and sensor adhesive prevents infection from being introduced once applied. You can get the sensor reader app for your phone, so there would be no reader unit to worry about. The new system I mentioned in my previous post states that it is available for Medicare patients, but I have no idea what the copay would be, same with the Freestyle Libre I know Medicaid doesn't pay for the Freestyle Libre, but $75 isn't that bad for us, and it gets 2 sensors that last 14 days each. I suggest looking at the website for both systems, then decide if it's something that you feel is worth talking to your Dr about.
