If you had said you made it through the mowing WITHOUT chicken poop and bugs I would have had to call you a big fibber! That or you have an AWESOME rain suit and face shield.

I can pet 3-4 of the lightly on the back. Most just stay away from my hands lol so major running or trying to fly though! So I guess that's not too bad.

Bob whites are terrible. Or maybe it was the ones I was dealing with. They were always terrified and flying around like maniacs.



You can actually get an outdoor add on elevator. There was a house for sale for a while that had one. It was crazy. Big steal tunnel attached to the outside of the house. New owners listed it for sale so I guess they didn't need it.

How long should I boil the quail eggs? Does anyone have any good recipes for them? We usually do ramen eggs, those are really good.

I boiled them for about 3 minutes. Seemed to work.

How much food do your chicks eat? I've going through two quarts a day and I think they could eat more.
20 total if I remember correctly.
