Good morning! I can sure tell I did some work yesterday it kicked my butt lol.
Sometimes it does a body good to just hustle through a bunch of crap.
Got everybody fed and tended, let squirrel Bob and the little kids some watermelon.
Kids like it, they're peckin and twittering no idea about Bob he ran off with his chunk lol.
Sue, congratulations you have a chick named after you so does Nancy.
You two are the troublemakers, always together and the only two that hop at me just daring me to make them go along with anything spunky little gals.
Two of the smallest four, im not surprised in the least. :)
Oh and my tires, found them safe and sound attached to hub's hand trucks.
He stole them, didn't even ask and had the nerve to say "were those yours?"
Like I put other peoples tires in my shed.
He's replacing and installing for me to even out for his sticky fingers.

Nope, there are a few breeders. I doubt the eggs ship well.

That was the impression I got. I think my brother won't be happy until he tries. I think he would practically have to build a climate controlled house for them. He's under the impression that they are a little slow to acclimate to cold.

I'm doing pretty good all things considered, Thank you for asking 😊 my headaches are so much better, many days are headache free (don't want to jinx it), the legs swelling is driving me crazy right now and I still wobble a bit throughout the day and I'm sure there are many other things that I'm forgetting (just ask Bob )

We were getting a 3 way serenade yesterday morning. Just little cracking and squeaking crows, my husband looked at me and asked, "Are they crowing? Already?" 9 weeks old today!

I had an interesting conversation with my brother today. He is considering moving up here in the next year are so and he wants to get Dong Tao chickens, for the gelatin that their ginormous legs would make. The sound fairly fragile and are fugly as all get out. I told him to start with something simpler and get used to chickens in general. He thinks he should be able to pay $120 for a dozen eggs and hatch enough to work with. *sigh* shipped eggs are so much trouble.

They have suddenly appeared all over Facebook. Wonder if that's where he got his interest peaked? They are awful looking birds. I wonder about their quality of life too. Their legs look painful to me. Not sure how they can even walk. But that's what they were bred for. Not sure why the rest of the bird looks so bad.
