What age do you process the Cornish and about what do they weight? I have some mixes that are 16 weeks tommorow, but they look like they need a couple weeks... but the weather is saying otherwise
I've butchered some at 14-16 weeks, they are small but are filled out nicely (pure Cornish) If they look like they could use a bit longer to get to the size you like, then let them wait a bit. Try catching and weighing them. If they have the hard feathering their size can be deceptive (they are actually much heavier than they look).

These guys are leggy so they might look light because of that... they have some bjg in their background and I think that's where long legs came from. I have 4 that are in question, I think I will harvest one and the one from my breeding that's the same age and see what they look like without feathers. I have 44 chicks 16 to 6 wks, most are cockerels

Lol, he chewed me out for throwing him out as slave labor.

Yeah we have these freakin destructive ants around here that hollow them out like that.
That tree was just one of many just hanging on by the toenails down there.
Good news is it looks like most of the fence is backish so hopefully free derps tomorrow. :)
Seeing those cross sections it falling makes sense. Kinda rotted in that middle, important part. 😳

Oh yeah, they'll all be all over it anyway since it was forbidden fruit for a couple days.
Roll some of those rotten ones over for the chickens. They will live the bugs they attract and sitting on and in them. The dead tree in my run is a huge hit. Not sure whats going to happen when it really falls apart. A bunch of sad birds.
