Official Squatch Watchers

I will do my best. Hubs is off to his second job, kids asleep, so it’s just me 🥰🥰🥰
And its raining 🙁. I hate doing inside chores, but I keep putting them off to do outside chores so I guess I should work on that today.

Inside chores.....:tongue

Grammy's cookies.....:drool

Mo, if you have a 3'x4' or 4'x4' piece of plywood you can put something under it, adhesive backed tile on it to make it a floor and 2"x6" for a border around it. Put the digging stuff in it with an old bed and that can be his spot. He can dig without ruining the floor and if the bed gets torn up that's fine, too. It can be dismantled at a later date and the plywood with tile used as part of a floor in a coop. I did the plywood with tile for the chickens and it's still going strong after 4 years, no damage from poop or anything else.

You can teach Noah that he has a digging spot by taking him there and showing him he can dig there and praise/reward him for digging in that spot. If he did somewhere else you redirect him back to his digging spot.

This is where the big dogs are allowed to dig, as you can see nothing grows there anyway, so it's a foxhole garden.

Peach is the Anatolian, LT is the Anatolian mix (white socks), 18 now and 8 yrs, respectively.
LOL the rooms are small , biggest is only 12 ft wide. I have to move his bed in the living room to do my exercises. In the bedroom there's 2 ft between the bed and the dresser or the closet.
I have my parents house next door, but TV reception is bad there. It's lower at the bottom of the hill. I have internet there but seem to use my phone mostly.

Good morning Mo, have a great Saturday !!

I got the area under the fish tank cleaned out. Its on a metal stand and stuff gets pushed under there. Got three out of four tanks cleaned. Two if them got a deep clean, scrub glass and clean filter. Picked hair algae out if my planted tank and and moved an anubia to the 55 as well as a couple cardinal plants. The fish are ecstatic! 🥰
Somehow I manage to do inside chores without touching a single dish or load of laundry 🤣🤣🤣
Still have one litter box to scrub as well as bird cages that I used as quail brooders and then as separate quarters for a couple of them.
At some point I may get to the other tank but its in mini’s room so i cant get in until he gets up. Its understocked so Im not hugely worried about it, but I still like to do them all at once cuz I hate doing the hoses.

:highfive:

I did one TINY load of laundry....only cause I needed to launder a couple yards of fabric before cutting it out.

I made a holiday favorite cookie here. They are known by many names. We call them "death cookies". Seriously we do.
If anyone wants the recipe let me know. :lau

Nope no dying from reading it.

They are actually very nummy.

1 Cup butter softened
2&1/4 Cups all purpose flour
1/3 Cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 Tablespoon water
1 Cup chopped finely pecans (I am cheap. I use walnuts)
1 Cup powdered sugar

Heat oven to 325°F. Makes aprox 36.
In large mixing bowl beat butter 30 seconds. Add granulated sugar, vanilla and water beat a few seconds. Add 1/2 the flour beat til thoroughly combined. Add remaining flour and mix well. Stir in nuts.
Form into 1" balls and bake for 20 minutes. Cool on wire rack then gently shake cookies in a bag with powdered sugar.

Wanna know why we call them death cookies?
