Harvested a cockerel, first time I have had lice eggs on a vent... I haven't put out sulfur since fall. I put sulfur everywhere in the coops.
And first time I had such a crooked keel.

It was straighter at the base. The top was bent over. I took a pic without meat but the lighting was wrong and doesn't show

It looks like mostly the pointed end of the breast has grown to the side. How old was he? Did he look different before you processed him?

Didn't notice it before. About 7 months

Just wondering how that happens. Inquiring minds need to know! Did he perch somewhere unusual when he was younger, soft cartilage there, could maybe get deformed easy?

Perched with everyone else. 2x4 flat. Free ranging and a couple of siblings disappeared. I assumed redtail.

But I think that was it, just not sure how
