The only filter I've had to develop over the years, is when Dh starts a sentence with "I've been thinking". Immediately, my first thought is, "O crap, this isn't going to be good".

Unfortunately the owls have taken over getting the poults. If I put the hens in a coop they trample the poults. I had 5 poults in the house and 1 died, so I grabbed another. Don't have room for more.
Going to have to think about building a covered run. But not up to it now.
 
Those videos made me think about my mom introducing me to what she called doodlebugs as a really little kid lol!
Doodlebugs are ant lions they do this whole pit of doom thing.
Mom would take a stick the thing would pop out and bite it and she'd pull it out.
The whole time saying "doodlebugs, doodlebugs, the house is on fire "
Apparently this was something her mom taught her since there were six kids and toys didn't happen.
This is how I also found out about the junebug kite.
Funny memories but kinda awful if you were a bug.
I don't do either one anymore swear. :D
