She certainly was. It would be impossible to find one like her. I was lucky to be able to call her mine.

Well I got the herd taken care of, Kiwi is still kind of giving me the side eye like what she pulled last night was my fault.
Everybody is starting to get the early molting grouchy syndrome but I don't blame them.
I think I'd be grouchy too if I molted.

Good morning everyone

It's been busy here and a sad event.

The busy part was getting ready for concrete. Yup I dug out 2 flower beds and planted what I could in new areas out back. The rest waits in pots.
The garden is producing well. That means a lot of processing has been going on.

The sad event is Bitty passed away. I will miss my tiny clown.

Don't I know it, looks like the boys are going to be first here.
A couple of the young derps are going pretty good and Homer is in full swing.
I know Hobo waits until dead winter so does Lulu just to worry me.
Two young guys that already have a slight attitude towards each other molting in tandem is probably going to be where the real entertainment is going to be.

It's odd and sad going out there and and not seeing her bouncy self.

Here it's the California Whites followed closely by Rudy. Yup Rudy is being rude to everyone. She had guts enough this morning to peck through the hole on my fake crocks.
The blessing with molting here is poor Crooky who goes naked all summer grows feathers for winter. I have started the fall protein boosts already.

Hot and humid here
53 and a rat size opossum. Seen an itsy bitsy opossum by the predators compost pile. Too young to be on its own. I left it because if I grabbed it I would not be able to dispatch and I don't need a pet opossum
