The leaves do sorts look and smell like weed.

They do make tons of seeds. They are a cool flower and given a chance do very well almost everywhere.

Good morning everybody

My girls are molting apparently, hopefully . Ive been finding feathers here and there and suddenly so many it looks like a massacre. poor Pippa has no tail
Whatever hubs did killed the mites. I see tons of dead ones all over the coop. I think he sprayed some castille soap I had mixed up for aphids and completely doused the inside with DE.

Ive been very slowly working on my to do list, but so slowly that just more keeps getting added to it. Henny, I need whatever it is you have for breakfast

Nope....unless being stubborn counts.

Things accomplished today.....

Dug out grass section to make room for barberry
Barberry are planted (that ground was freakishly hard)
Reset the front fence
Dug up iris and sorted
Went to costco, feed store and wally world
Ran laundry x3 loads

Yup not even a portion of my list. That's ok. Tomorrow is another day.

Added to the list for tomorrow is mow and weed whack as well as rip out damaged plants under the big tree. That won't take long....it's all of them.
Oh and make kettle of veggie beef soup to put in the freezer.

Yup it's that wonky fence stuff we have all along the front. If you blow up the pic you can see the gap and path through the flower bed.
Maybe cleome can go around the light pole since there's room for fluffy plants there too. I will be buying a shrub for the corner....must bloom and not get huge.



A hundred bucks doesn't get much flag stone but we got this far. There's another 8 or so big stones to the right of the step.


My poor beat up barberry. I gave them a dose of quick start rooting fertilizer.
