I've never used Gamma lids for feed. Just for food and they do well. Metal trash cans or heavy duty food grade drums work best for feed.Hi everybody
Hows the spot on your leg doing Clue?
Its been really nice weather here the last few days. I cant believe how sore I am after putting up a few screw hooks overhead. I still need to do a few more, then rake up all the rocks and get pavers put down before I move the bunnies under there. I still have more buckets to wash. I wondered where all my buckets were. Filled with miscellaneous crap all over the backyard apparently.
Does anyone have gamma “style” lids from Leaktite? They were a few bucks cheaper and in stock. It seemed like a no brainer at the time, but I’ve lost around a $100 total with ruined moldy feed from them leaking. Their regular lids are great, but of course raccoons and squirrels can open those.
The newest one I got have the handle on top of the lid and leak through the handle attachment. The old ones I have the lid handle is on the side of the lid.Metal trash cans

I wanted to get the metal cans but they were/are out of my price range. Oh, if only Id had a crystal ball! I would have splurged and ended up saving money in the long run. This may be what I have to do now. One at a time thoughI've never used Gamma lids for feed. Just for food and they do well. Metal trash cans or heavy duty food grade drums work best for feed.
Try some aquarium silicone or kitchen and bath caulk. That should work. You can get the aquarium silicone in pretty small containers, like an ounce I think is the smallest. The newest one I got have the handle on top of the lid and leak through the handle attachment. I wish I had the room and the extra handsI have gamma lids but still store my feed inside so probably not a good sample for your conditions.

I wish I had the room and the extra hands. I have to go through the patio door which is difficult to open with my elbows and wrangle the princess back into the house after “not” tripping over her. Mostly though its the lack of room. She and I have come to an understanding - she behaves, she gets to go outside with me; she doesn’t behave, she either can’t go outside or has to wear the “harness of doom” as I like to call it. I swear you can this cats spirit break when its on her
