The grand snow total looks to be about 9".

The chickens aren't to upset about the cold. The water is an issue in the cold but I took more out.

I survived the grocery trip so that's good. We shouldn't need to go back for 3 weeks now.

Dog food....I will stop on my way home Monday for that.

21f and 90% here, tomorrow morning supposed to be a couple degrees below zero

It certainly is. That kind of cold soaks into the bones. I admit to being worried about possible frostbite. This is the first winter in the 8x8 coop that used to have the ducks. I really don't want to be out there trying to add more ventilation. I am at the minimum recommended so hope it's enough.

Anything below zero.is just plain awful. I hope yours doesn't last long at all.

Not much can be done with high humidity even with good ventilation,

I'm only supposed to be cold for a couple days then again Friday for a couple days

Very true. I will be sure to keep an eye on coop humidity the next few days and make that comparison to outside.

At least Crooky who goes naked all summer has feathers in winter. Poor genetic mess that she is.

Good morning everyone.

We should see more sunshine today. Our total snow is listed as 9.8 inches officially.

I will be allowing extra time to get to work. I hope the construction zone is cleared of ice and snow.
