Whereas Ive never worked two jobs before, officially, I have worked when kiddo was little and gone to school. I have no idea how I managed that. Hubs was deployed a part of that time as well. My schedule was split in half, so I would work a few hours in the a.m. have a few hours off then work in the p.m. basically I had an almost 12 hour workday. I was not a fan of that. I worked at his daycare, so that helped a teeny bit. At least I knew who was taking care of him, what he ate and did all day long. Now I dont have to worry about him, but am worried about the animals and my home chores. But we need the extra cash, so —-

:hugs While I have managed to avoid the 2 jobs thing I have worked some crazy long hours over the years. It's rough. I won't lie about that. I pulled an 8 month stretch of 7 days a week at 12 hours a day.

These days that would likely kill me.

As Molpet said....willingly is legal, forced is not.

It's a long story as to why it ended up so crazy. In the end I had a sit down with the owner and let him know it was taking a heavy toll on me and I couldn't continue those hours. He had been so busy himself he didn't realize how many days in a row I was putting in and he slowed the production line down that my area fed parts to.
