Good morning all 60 something when I got up. Just started raining now and it's cooled to 63.

Nothing in poultry yard and exlarge box trap. One dp was knocked down.

I harvested a July jake yesterday afternoon and another this morning right before the rain. They had been locked up in a too small coop since September. 5x5ft Because the owls ate the siblings. Sure showed in size. I just took drumsticks, thighs and boneless breasts. One 6 lbs the other 4lbs. Not doing that again. Filthy dirty breasts and broken feathers. So much for raising them right. There's 2 other jakes loose, one is older and survived to get big before the owls could get him.. and another the same age who stayed in coop until bigger.

Hi everybody :frow
Getting rid of the deep freeze tomorrow. Bittersweet. We dont really use it anymore but i still find it handy. It doesnt really fit in the kitchen anymore and i refuse to climb over three feet of BS to get to it if its put in the garage or downstairs.
I might get a painting out of it though. We'll see 😂. Its supposed to be quite large. So i may not take it.
