I've been MIA too. The chemo brought on a case of shingles. I've been out of commission. I never thought I'd say it, but the shingles are worse than what I've experienced with this new chemo. Of course, I'm fairly early into the chemo, so that could change before it's done.

Sorry to hear that. Did you get vaccinated for shingles? And was it the newer one.

Oh, I hope the move goes super smooth too. Having moved multiple times, I can honestly say I hate moving. To me the packing things up is no fun, but unpacking it all in the new home is the hardest part.

I start chemo on the 28th of this month. I think I'm starting to see that the cause of my cancer reactivating, has to do with the length of my hair. It all falls out during chemo, grows back in, and after several years, finally gets long. When it gets long, that's when the cancer re-activates, so I have to go through it all over again. I won't complain too much, since the chemo has added many more years to my life than expected.

I haven't been up to date on this forum but I wanted to say... My heart goes out to to! I am glad you are able to share, we CARE. Hugs and prayers for you and your family. I'm amazed at your persistent strength
 
Just wanted to stop by and give an update, we have completed the move to a smaller house and Bob will be able together around much easier. It's actually only about 15 minutes closer to town, than the old place. Handed over the keys on the 5th, they are a very nice younger couple.
Bob, really hasn't changed, he still uses the walker and rarely goes anywhere.

They do not have any rights to the kids. We might talk about re-establishing contact as they get older, but for now... it won't be good for the boys.

I got 27 happy, energetic balls of fluff in the mail today. They sent them to the wrong post office so DH had to drive 1hr and 10min one way instead of 35 min to the one we usually pick up from. They offered to send them to the closer post office but that would risk the babies more so we opted to get them home ASAP. We’re going to play stork to some of my mom’s broodies tonight. She’s got 5 of them.

We got 14 BC Marans, two cockerels in there. And we got 11 surplus blue egg layers. Looks like we got a mix of Ameraucana in different colors and two cream legbars. We also have two cream legbar cockerels. Our plan is to make some Olive eggers next year. Though I might keep the legbars pure since they are sex selected from hatch.
