How many more?!Not yetThey can start laying at 18 months, which would be their third spring. Sometimes they don't start until the year after that, though. My guys will be just a year in April. But, I do have more eggs incubating this year that I bought from other breeders

The green tray has some cracked corn bc I ran out of reg corn and the roads are icy from rain yesterday.

There's nothing as fun as watching them raise babies! I wish I had room for more coop space...or with unlimited funds I could maybe build upward with a second or third story.

Shadow/Java have been back in and out of the nest. Saw Trip in the other nest this morning and Bonnie too. So I could have 3 sets going at one time real soon.![]()

Do you wrap that loft up with a tarp or anything to keep them warm? We don't get that cold and I'm just beside myself animals live through it. We got to 37 deg last night and I was super worried.-2F , wind chill -17F. Sunny though and breakfast was well attended!
