Does freezing the tomatoes affect the texture much? I've never canned meat/poultry/fish before. Guess I should give it a try.I use my pressure canner all year. That is a great deal you got. I like wide mouth jars for canning chicken. The turkey fryer burner is idea is great! I'm getting close for salsa, but our peppers need to step up first. I freeze my tomatoes for salsa and sauce, so I have time.
