Pullet or Cockerel?

Hey guys! This is my 4 week old Buff Brahma Bantam chick. Is it too early to tell if it’s a hen or roo? Different behavior from my other chicks makes me suspicious, but I know behavior isn’t a good indicator. What do you guys think?

With the way that comb is coming in I believe cockerel.

That’s a cute little one you’ve got there! I’m leaning towards cockerel but Brahmas can sometimes look one way and be the other at a younger age. Since @EmmaRainboe says cockerel it probably is.

I think it is too early to tell. Things should be clearer in 3 or 4 weeks. Right now I would lean toward it being a pullet simply because its color is even, not patchy, but that is only one piece of the puzzle.

I am also leaning pullet! And definitely quite young to tell. Repost in 3-4 weeks!

I will put my 2 cents in even though my cents are probably only worth a mill a piece at that age, because well........it is fun. Cockerel

I wouldn’t say that, there’s always room for mistake!
