Hello All,
We got this Rhode Island Red (RIR) from rural king back in April. It has grown a lot but its comb and wattles are far more developed than any of our other chickens. It has not crowed yet but we strongly believe it might be a cockerel for the following reasons:
1. It is very friendly. It will crawl all over me while the other chickens will only stay on my hand.
2. It squares off with everyone else in the flock.
3. Comb and wattle development exceed that of other chickens of same age.
4. It is very brave and the least skittish of the bunch.
Any thoughts from the BYC community?
