I think that's what it is but I will double check with the pharmacist. Actually I may even ask feed store if they know anyone who might have some B complex I can pinch some off. How much would you recommend?
They need 125 Mgs daily of niacin if you can get liquid it’s 1 ml daily. Do if they have c complex in tablets you may have to cut it down to get the 125 Mgs

I think The Quack Shack is officially done. We finished painting and doing trim this afternoon. I was going to do vertical trim on the corners but I think I'm over it so... I don't want to. Next will be the hardware cloth run project. I think it'll end up being 50 ft long by 20ish feet wide. Put some shavings in the coop and a kiddie pool in the run and boom, ready for ducks!

Also, yes I realize that some of the trim doesn't match up at all. :gig We are NOT carpenters in any way, shape, or form. We had mostly wood leftover from our barn build, so it didn't cost much to build and it'll hold a few ducks! I'm not sure the ducks care if we're master carpenters. At least I hope they don't or I'm in trouble...

Actually the most expensive part was the solar pop door, but that's worth it's weight in gold.

Very nice!

Hows the saddle feathers look on possible pullet? My 2 roos I had started getting their boy feathers at this age, and the saddle ones were the most obvious

I'm not sure, honestly. I tried to get a good look earlier but they're still in that skittish stage where they flip out when they realize I'm stalking them. Once they realize I'm the giver of mealworms, they'll calm down. But I couldn't really see any saddle feathers on any of the three.

@Pyxis I could use your smartness please.

Lets say I where to hatch a frizzle cockerel from the Polish eggs, and he went in the breeding pin. Since the Cochin is barred am I right in assuming I could tell at hatch who the father is?

Khaki Polish should throw solid dun chicks.
Cochin should throw black & dun barred chicks.

Yep! As long as the cochin is double barred, all his chicks should be single barred.
