I have a smallish one. 3 raised beds and then 16 hydroponic buckets for tomatoes and peppers with may an additional 15 or so pots for them as well.

That sounds interesting never tried hydrophobic. Tomatoes just don’t well here. Well probably grow hot peppers and I’d like to try some lettuce for my birds and us. Last year I bought a forage mix and they weren’t too keen on it. Problem with trying to grow anything is so much shade ones all the leaves come out.

I never had problems with tomatoes until I moved to VA. Couldn't grow them no matter what I tried. Then one day discovered hydroponics... Been growing them that way since. I try to get enough so that I can can up enough sauce, diced and whole to last us through the year. I won't do paste as its just too much effort for so little produced.

I’ll have to look into hydroponics. Sounds interesting. I like putting peppers up too.

This is the guy I learned from. I find it works best if you can bury your reservoir as it provides a more consistent temp on the roots. I use a 55gal drum to feed the resevoir and that gives me about a weeks worth of water.

Wow what a set up that is. You must have a green house.

This is my setup, it's outside. I have to rebuild it this year as the borer bees have taken their toll on it. It also works well for peppers.

They used to have a pool here, now it's a garden

Here my reservoir is buried in sandbags as we're pretty much on solid rock.

That is really nice Bob we’re on solid rock also. Makes extremely hard to bury anything. That is a beautiful garden area and hydrophobic area!
