Yoda, how many genetic lines do you have? One or two of these little guys might be an aberration, but three sounds like something genetic. I'm no expert, but this something I worry about in my flock. I'm on third generation of Pekin runners desended from the same drake and duck. I need to rearrange my flock in the spring, as I have some unrelated hens for my main drake and I need to get another drake for my current hatching hens. Those little ones sure are cute though.

:frow Good morning Lisa, have a great day

I have not made kiwifruit icecream. Apart from eating them peeled and sliced, we tend to eat them in raw fruit salads or on pavlovas: https://www.taniaskitchen.co.nz/classic-newzealand-kiwi-pavlova-recipe/
Note that this is a "Kiwi pav". Those Aussies say they invented the pavlova. The trans-Tasman rivalry over this kind of thing is intergenerational, as @Muscovy Wunda will no doubt confirm, possibly by supplying an alternative recipe for the glorious pav, carefully labelled "Australian". Exact same recipe here, only we don't call it the Australian pavlova, just pavlova. And most of us grow up never even knowing about disput of origin until a kiwi brings it up and we are like "wait, what?" Yep. I only learnt 5 years ago it was a thing. But as it turns out you and I have both been living a lie and of course America, leaders of the world invented it. Read for yourselves.https://www.goodfood.com.au/eat-out...eveals-desserts-shock-origins-20151010-gk5yv9 But same as lamington. Was created in Australia and NZ. Yes, created in both. Because the Australian uni in QLDs research says no doubt was invented here, and the uni in Auckland NZ says with out a doubt was invented there, but originally called a Wellington. Is all silly. Doesn't matter who invented it, is all delicious!

And also, you can have Russel Crowe and Lorde back.... but please explain to me what on earth is a lolly cake because I have never heard or seen one in my life!

Good afternoon everyone!! After getting rain from hurricane Delta yesterday we had a nice day today but more rain coming in. It’s so nice to sit out with the flock and have leaves falling out of the trees on ya. Probably wouldnt take more than a couple hours to be covered. Fall love it.
