Just the one line from 11 siblings. However I introduced 3 hens into the flock from another flock. I worry too but they in line breed right?
I expect this is the source of you peanuts. They do line breed but after a while you need fresh DNA, this could be accomplished by hatching just from your outside three hens or adding drakes from an outside line and isolating only these drakes with your hens for a generation or two. Thank you so much for answering my silly question 🙂 I thought that might be the answer, but wasn't sure. I just love the little ones more, our Stumpy was a ring but grew up with the rest until nature stepped in 😭
Oh yeah I reckon it looks like a tiny call duckling compared to the bigger ones. Such a size difference!

My ducks are messing with me... another 3 eggs this morning... thats 10 eggs in 12 hours... only 1 belongs to cayuga the rest came from the 4 pekins. @duluthralphie I think you are onto something with the dux
