You know it just clicked to me it's summer there.. and its winter here.... so... no matter where you are in the world emus breed and lay in the same months regardless of seasons?

They breed in the winter here too Well, winter into early spring. This little one is already three weeks old, and was one of the last eggs to be laid by the breeder's birds, so the egg was actually laid about three months ago.

Yeah okay, They breed autumn winter here but the 3 months makes so much more sense!
