Ducks ate so smart guys! They’re eating feed and start choking, and instead of drinking water, they keep eating! Genius!

Im now realizing I wrote “ate” instead of “are”

Just take the feed away for a few minutes and offer water only. How many times are you feeding a day?

Usually 2, or I refill it once-twice. They have access to it whenever they want. I give them feed in old vitamin containers, not the tall narrow ones but more round. I’ve been moving the water in front when they start chocking

My chookies are loving free ranging again. With 88ml over weekend my ducky refuses to leave the puddles and go home. I can't even bribe her with food because the frogs and tadpoles are far tastier so I am relying on the basset to keep her safe. Not ideal I know but shes way faster on water than I am . We've had 622ml for the year and our yearly average is 275ml.
