Still without a solution for my berry-garden groundwater problem, i decided to go ahead with the veggie garden instead, so this is what i have planned for the tomato beds:
full

From the left to the right: A small path, then comes the tomato-bed itself, a one spade wide, one spade deep trench filled with compost soil, then a little levee made from loam out of the trench to retain water and finally the next path to walk in between the beds. The little levee will be shaded with the trellis for the tomato plants. Need to cut some young sycamore trees to build the support for the trellises.
What do you think about this?

How are bunnies doing?
I find it amusing that you ask that when I mention raised beds :)

Bunnies are doing well. I have three in my trailer right now because they are a dwarf breed with thinner hair (Lionemane), two in my daughter's mud room (they had been kept as indoor rabbits and are not habituated to the outdoors right now), and 11 more outside. That's a lot of bunnies! Hopefully, I'll get some breeding done in a month or two.
