Today is COLD. Long-sleeve cold. And still cloudy and smelling of wood smoke.

What do you expect at the end of fall?
In just another week you'll have the first snow storm coming through…

I hope that these wild-fires can be put out quickly. Guess some rain would help?

We've had a lot of rain in the past several days, but from what I hear it's not slowing down the fires...

We don't have the cold but we have the smoke from up there. We are being told to stay inside it is so bad here even without any health problems. I hope you have a good day and that the smoke leaves us all soon.

Actually there's a light smell of smoke here too…

I must be these strange Canadian Winds but I hardly get any smoke in my area. It's all being sent south!

Lucky you, I just went outside and the smell is horrible where I am along with the smoke from it. They said it would be terrible today and they were not lying. Glad I took care of the ducks early as I hate the smell. I just took a shower and have a doctors appointment and don't want to smell like I smoked 100 cigarettes before I go, lol. Especially since I don't even smoke!!!

I have never heard of us having smoke like this from up there. Do you folks always have these fires or is this something that has just gotten out of hand this year???

And then one day of fall and straight back into the freezer?

Some really serious rainfall in Canada is required!

It is out of control up in Canada! The area that has been burnt is already the largest since the beginning of record-keeping. I did some research here:

It is so bad here where I am that there are actually ashes coming with it. They are on the cars and no one here is burning anything so it is coming from up there.

I knew it had to be bad for the affects we are getting from it. It is absolutely horrible to go outside here.
