Success!!! - Came to find two really unhappy looking escape-artists this morning, El Chapo Duckman and Harry Duckhini both were still wearing their socks! They had managed to pull them down somewhat but the important part, pushing their feathers to their bodies were still in the right place. So i gently grabbed one after the other and pulled the sock down over their feet and freed them for the day.
And what can i tell you: Their feathers looked so much better already!
Maybe one or two uncomfortable nights and they are fixed for life and will be able to convince the ladies just by their looks. - Nah! They both will chase and grab the duck necks and … 😜

After watching this video and reading a bit more, i don't think these two guys have Angel-Wing at all, they have the Ralphie Dux gene! - Ralphie, my Black Swedish drake has some of the flight feathers of his left wing growing into the wrong direction. I caught that too late last year and it could not be corrected.
I am pretty sure that Ralphie fathered most of the Incubator Gang, so he is very likely their dad…
Angel wing is when the wing is drooping due to the weight of the flight feathers, bercause the muscle development is lacking behind the feather growth. Both drakes have their wings not drooping at all, just the feathers are growing in the wrong direction, like here with Harry:

Right side is just fine, feathers on the left side are growing outwards.
That is how my little Mallard Call ducks are growing, straight out. Maybe it did not have angel wing either then.

I think your thinking of slipped wing, which is more like an injury type of thing.
Mine might be slipped wing as I did not notice it having it when I picked it out. It happened in the crate with the other Call ducks while we were bringing them home. It is not in pain however and I just keep clipping the feathers that stick straight out on the one side so they don't get hung up anywhere. It's over a year old now.

Small mob passing through this morning, being typical sticky beaks
