I'm sorry to hear that.It seems that the first duckling that made its little hole in the shell did not make it. We enlarged the hole using tweezers where the air sack was. We can see the duckling, its head, the bill, the eye... but it does not move or respond.

This made me laugh, then gave me a ping of sadness. What ever happened to our gaurd toad?
Khaki Campbell are a smaller breed, so it's not unusual for them to hatch a bit earlier.The thing is, we're still on Day 27... Our ducklings are seriously unfamiliar with the standard procedure
