The eggs in the incubator are doing very well.
I removed 2 for no development at all, but I was able to see beautiful vein development in all of them, and movement in most of them.
That's 16 of 18!

Wow those are some awesome eggs! The person that sent them to you must have packed them very well! :gig

Seriously though, I'm happy that they are doing well for you! Anxious to see how many hatch.

Not only did they do a very good job packing, they have some very fertile eggs! :D
After seeing your flock, I can't wait to see what hatches either. I'm hoping for at least 1 blue pullet . :)

This is the Cornish X. She's actually not nearly as grotesque as I expected. She does have huge poops and often. She's pretty clean though, likes to eat grass, and has all her feathers. Much different than I expected.

The LB chicks have been living with her. There is a massive size difference, but the CX is pretty nice, and they all get along. It's cute watching the LB snuggle under the CX.

Bird focus time!
The bird up for your viewing pleasures is Nugget, one of my first chickens. Her com and waddles are starting to grow out a bit. Hopefully she's not to far from laying eggs. I can't wait to have some tiny soft boiled eggs.

Her plumage has me a bit confused. If I was to guess, I'd say she was a buff columbian.

At first I thought her down was black... I never really investigated it that close.

Tonight though, I did and was surprised, and now confused. Most of her feathers are both buff and black. I don't know if this would still be lacing. The buff color takes up a substantial part of the feather.
