Normal winter temps. Can be in the 20 to not normal down below 0 with wind chill. Snow can be from a couple inches to 3’. I am sure you can top that right.

That's gorgeous! Our autumn colours are often quite muted here, because we don't get much dry, crisp weather at that time of year. Further south (Southern Hemisphere, so back-to-front for you) the leaves colour up more.

But you get them that’s interesting since I always wondered what spring an fall looked like with NZ.

As for spring, the cherry blossoms have just given way to the first flush of roses. Our native kowhai flowers, which are yellow, would be the most common sight making our springs look different from photos in other parts of the world.
My sister lived in Kentucky for a while and was amazed at the clear succession of spring blossom colours there. I remember she said that the redbuds dominated for a few days, and just before or after that, some kind of white blossom was everywhere. Here, we have a mixture of spring colours for quite some time.

Well how about some pictures! Maybe the white blossoms were the dogwoods. Which are native to Kentucky and NC. Sometimes we’re even blessed to see them bloom at the same time which is gorgeous.
