Then mix poop (poultry) into that mud and boy oh boy. We took our rain gauge in a few months ago after it thawed out so we don’t know how much rain we got but it was a bunch. I’m sorry Misty I didn’t know you broke your arm I bet that was painful.
I did not know you had any poultry, I thought you just had dux.

Yes it was horrible. That particular flood caused a huge mudslide on the main entrance to our mountain and washed out roads. There are only 3 roads up the mountain and we were down to one for about 7 months. We almost got marooned up here because the last route was washing out too. Pic below is the last route off of this mountain and that is the creek, not even the river. Everyone was concerned since this bridge has been here since the 1800s and was part of the Civil War. We had a car parked across the river and our canoe ready just in case. LOL. The adventures of living in the mountains with a major river. Oh and that monstrocity is what I had to wear AFTER getting my regular cast removed. Not attractive at all!

I love that bridge!! Looks like a super place to hide under and ambush dux..

The cast is not real cool though.

We’ve had quite a few of those floods too. It can sure get interesting living in the mountains that’s for sure. That would have been sad to loose such a historical landmark and to be stranded also. Nope not pretty but at least your arm healed good right?

hi, i’m new to this thread. how many ducks do you have?
Hey there Duck Mommy, it's nice to meet you. I've got 21 ducks in total. Runners, Ancona, and Pekin.

What's about yourself? Feel free to post some pictures. We love looking at others babies. Well most of us do. Pay no mind to our "guard toad." He likes to help with population control and a biological balance, or something. ;)
