My type A personality is dying a little bit inside, but since we've downsized into a mobile home to move to our property, I don't have a ton of extra space anymore.

Morning friends! Big day today...littlest has a basketball game...then we have to go get haircuts. And finally, the big date Haven't decided yet if I should play good cop or bad cop
Maybe I will go to the door with a bird in my hands, poop and mud on my clothes, and feathers in my hair That should take care of any future dates....

Ughhh, those things are amazing. It's been to long, I'll be doing Publix for lunch. I don't even eat fried chicken to speak of, but I'll have an intamate session with that sub anytime! Them Northies just don't know what they're missing.

Don’t tempt me! I need to make a Publix run for groceries this weekend, too. It’s hard to pass the deli counter without getting something, haha!

I have a total of 50 I think. 5 being Roos. A mixture of different breeds. I have my laying hens my Breeding lens of Silkies, Seramas and Brahmas.

And they're all beautiful!

Me too! I hate subway and other sub shops. I’m not a sandwich person in general. BUT Publix subs are amazing. It’s on a whole different level. Sometimes I’ll get a wrap instead and it’s also pretty good.

If it makes you feel any better, I told my husband that I wanted to add a couple of heritage turkeys to the farm next year. I really like the idea of bourbon reds.

Thanks! That table sat empty for the first 3 months that we’ve been here and I just decorated it. And then immediately removed the decor this week to set up incubators. I guess I love new chicks more than decor?

Is she the driver @DiYMama540 ? Being outfitted like that back when mine first started dating would sure have taken care of any future dating

Just read the first page of this thread - the story of how you got your two ducks is similar to how I just ended up with two new pekins three days ago. A woman bought them and some chicks from TSC this spring and found that she really wasn't equipped to care for them. The manager at TSC texted me and asked if I would take them from her.

I talked to her and she said she had a male and female duck, and a male and female silkie. So I said I'd take them, even though I didn't need them at all, lol. Anyway, we meet up, and it's actually a mille fleur d'uccle hen and a red pyle OEGB rooster, and two female pekins.

Then she said she though the ducks were a male and a female because she had seen them mating with each other, so I got to explain about that. Lol.

Not a bad score.
I've had to explain to my neighbor "No that is not a fight, it's mating" "but it's so brutal" "you should see them mating in the water" "...eww"
She's also yelled at my rooster for "beating up that defenseless girl."
