Actually a thought I toyed with was doing the ducks normally and then only having a batchelor flock for chickens. Problem is I'm already too attached and invested in some of these ladies.

No, continue to raise/keep male and female ducks, but only male chickens. I just love roosters, and I prefer duck eggs over chicken eggs now.Butchering your female ducks too?
