Ehh, it could be I guess, but I've not seen it in the wild, at least not here. It's Saliva Purpurea, commonly known as Purple Salvia, or Purple Sage. It is fantastic at attracting pollinators, and the color is just delightful! Is this a wildflower? I have one just like that in my wildflower patch. The color is so vibrant!

Feel free to drop a picture of your flowers.![]()
Not purple sage. It's raining right now but I will send a purple sage picture tomorrow.View attachment 1826096
Hmm, now that I looked at it again, I think it is something different. It had a bloom that was more open this morning.
I kind of looks like a Morning Glory bloom. Is it a bush or a vine? There are wild morning glory that grow in a vine here, but I've not actually seen a bush. Not purple sage. It's raining right now but I will send a purple sage picture tomorrow.
Oh no! It looks kind of like your picture. I just planted a “wildflower” seed mix in an old lawn trailer. That is the only one I have seen so far though!I kind of looks like a Morning Glory bloom. Does it look anything like this when the blooms open?

If so it is likely Ipomoea Carnea, AKA Bush Morning Glory. If it is, just an fyi, not to scare you, but the seeds in large quantiles are considered poisonous, and have a compound similar to LSD. So if the ducks look all quack'adelic, that might be why.![]()
Gotcha! I must have been confused. It's been a rather long and crappy day so far. My mind has been preoccupied all day.Oh no! It looks kind of like your picture. I just planted a “wildflower” seed mix in an old lawn trailer. That is the only one I have seen so far though!
