Dad to that silkie on the cat was blue and the mother was partridge. So no she isn’t a standard color.

Okay, but maybe keep the jokes about silkies to a minimum? I actually really like Silkies and prefer to not have them -especially my own- called "not silkies" and, worse, "not chickens".

We got an O Shamo! It hatched overnight. It also came from the egg I thought was a Tomaru... Hopefully its 2 O Shamo instead. Oh yeah, the 2nd egg is extremely pipped!

I tried ti rehome the Silkies here today but it didn't work. I might have rehomed the Pekin though. I'll take what I can get I guess. I don't understand why so many people have Silkies down here. I don't think they can take the hot/wet weather all the great. Flop and Flop flatten out like fuzzy foot warmers in the heat of the day.

Thanks! I still need to get a pic of the other chic... Problem is I'm tired and my bum is stuck to the couch. There's also the strong gravitational pull on my shoulder. I think I'm falling right in to a nap!
