It's working anyways!Measure twice and cut once... Not this time! I just went on the basic measurements I took 5 hours prior... So it didn't fit. OOPS!

X and I being silly while we wait to be seated.
I don't think there would be anything wrong with letting her hang out with the bantams.I love theses folks!
Not many people in this genre can actually play their music on hand instruments.
A few pictures of Ms Brown.

So, Ms Brown is still managing to get past the fence and in to the front yard, a lot. I've triple double dawg checked that there is nothing for her to climn over which was the problem after clipping her wings. Now there is nothing for her to use to get over the fence... How high can a chicken jump? Can they clear a 4' fence?
This brings up something I would like some opinions on. Ms Brown, really likes it up front with the bantams. Does anyone see any problems with just letting her hang out with them? She came over this morning while I was working out there and came right up to me. I picked her up, gave her a pet and put her back. She was back in less than 10 minutes. I had limited time, so I just let her hang out for about an hour. She stayed around the fountain dish, and just scratched around, drank some water. Ya know, chicken things...
I've tried to stand in the back and watch and see how she gets out, but if I am back there she stays pretty close to me.
She likes me!
So, it's got me wondering how big of a problem I might create by letting her just hang out. Should I try and break the habit now? Is it a problem? Is it okay? What are your thoughts?

My chickens also don't seem to have any problems getting over 4' fences with clipped wings.![]()
