Good morning!! Chris my fav is the light Brahma you can pack her up an send her on up!:p
I'll have packed up and on the way by lynch. :p
I don't know if I mentioned it, but they came from the same farm that A'pollo and Nugget came from.

They've got so much personality already. I love bringing them out for some play time. I love when they stretch to grab weeds taller than them.

To help keep the peace, I've been feeding the youngsters in the cage and then opening it afterwards. I just let them come out on their own, but Peaches, is always the last to come out. She's no dummy though. She'll sit there an extra 10 minutes cleaning up the scraps :D

Looks like she fell asleep. lol
I took her to go meet the kids at the bus stop yesterday. She was a hit! I know hatchery quality is supposed to be sub par, but she came from Ideal via the feed store, and she's great.

I'd happily trade the P. rock and GL Wyandotte for a couple more Dorkings. :)

Hi there Elly! Besides busy, how have thing been going? The KC growing like little monsters? :)
Things are going well. Butchered 25 Muscovies yesterday, well I guess you could say today too.

Yes, the KCs are doing great. Still haven't managed to get pics of them yet, though. :barnie

We have everything harvested and brought in except for the cole crops, and now we're busy canning, freezing, and drying.
We've had a few light frosts already and even a little sprinkle of snow.
Summer went by too fast..... Like always.
I'm starting to winterize the coops and figure where I'm gonna put everyone for the winter.

I recently learned how to can milk, too. It's actually pretty easy.

So yeah, things are going good and busy. :)

Frost and snow?! Already? I sweat through a shirt just tossing some scratch out.

That stinks you've been so busy, but it sure does sound like you've gotten a lot done.

Do you guys skin our pluck the ducks?
