Flying by the seat of my pants!
They are Light Brahma eggs, from the same flock as the two I have. What breed are you hatching now Chris? It’s sometimes hard to know and I cannot cut one open.
My meat bird plans are changing. I wanted to use the NNs for the mother's, but I found out they are actually hatchery quality. When I tried to find other NN pullets locally I was unsuccessful, and ebay hatching eggs have already done me no good.
There is a member who has Red Ranger x NN eggs, but we decided to wait till next spring as his egg production has dropped way off.
However, I would like them (my birds) to be ready to produce fertile eggs come spring time.
I called looking for pullets, but the batch my current LB came from was her last hatch she's doing this year.
Here shortly I'll go pick up 12 plus w/e was layed today. The incubator has been running for a couple of hours in preperation.
