I found where Nugget has been hiding her eggs. I thought she was just not laying daily, but oh no no, I was wrong. I found 6 eggs (dropped one) in a tool bin. Looks like I might have to start closing the garage door during the day.

My 8 month old pullets haven't even started laying.. I suspect rats as they have already taken the fake eggs form the nestbox

I'm just confused... She is so much smaller and she gets mated by the Drake.. the Drake isn't even in control either. Now I only have one hen and that's my mallard :hmm. Ugh.. anyways I got more pics :D

It’s very strange because that sure looks like a Muscovy drake face. Do you actually see the other drakes penis when mating is over? They will do the mating thing for dominance too. Beautiful pics. Maybe you should consider an order. Of females. That’s a little scary your little Mallard is your only female.

It is but she is the dominant one actually, she bites them if they miss behave and I don't know for the muscovy mating, when they start doing it I just walk off. The mallard will actually bite the ducks if they attempt to mate with her or she'll sleep with the chickens.
