The A-Frame is for the hogs... Turkeys are just bigger and easier than a chick because of more hand room. For me they are a bit more difficult to scald because of their size.

Very nice setup. I still need to add on. My lavender orpingtons just started laying, though they left me without any today We need more nest boxes for the other 25 as we only have 5 in there coop.. 8 in the other

I have 14 hens and only 7 boxes and they all want to use the one the hen is laying her egg in! They are so silly.

When we start we're going to do them all. Figure one or two a day depending on how it goes.

Hehe, I've already got porta-potty urinal design in my head. If not, the trees are closer than the horse.

When I tought Xaiden about peeing outside, he took it a bit too serious. I was in the livingroom one day looking out the window. Next thing I know I see this tiny butt with pants around his knees, peeing in to the road. When I corrected him he told me he didn't want to pee on the pretty grass.

I had to explain that urine has nitrogen in it just like the blood meal we give the plants before he would just pee in the yard. His momma is a bit more proper than I am though, so I was asked not to promote it.

Wait till I teach him to spit. She's gonna lose her cookies!

Sounds like you've got enough boxes to me.
Now you need more chicken!

A lot of good interesting information there Chris thanks for sharing. Makes me want to tear down fencing and let mine forage our 10 plus acres but I know there would only be a few come home.
