Love those Muscovy Elly! Chris first eggs are always small they get larger the more they lay. My oldest Runners lay blue eggs I have no idea what color my Fawn an white will lay.
Are your older Runners from Cackle too? These where an off white with what looked like a waxy cover. I found the first one yesterday and thought it was an old chicken egg lol. Then I found one this evening on top of the new bedding. I almost tossed the first egg, but had it in the new nesting area to attract Ebby.
 
Any good reason I shouldn't go pick this up? I actually need a couple more bales of shavings...

I would be leery...

Those are not kiln dried. They could be too damp to suck up water...

or they could rot in the coop...


Of course, If your using them on dux... no one could tell if it was normal dux odor or rotting molding chips.

Good point Ralphie! I've never thought of it that way.
If nothing else, I bet they would make great mulch for a garden.
