Omg. . I Forgot to report their latest attempt to see me dead.
They are royally irked that I have emptied their big tank and only giving them drinking water for the last week or so. .I didn't feel like messing with it in bad weather.
They cuss me every time I step foot outdoors. . I can tell they're cursing me. I speak duck.
Any who. Yesterday, I went in the palace to change their drinking water. They tried to storm the door. . one flew at my face. I nearly fell backwards out the door but I caught myself. I decided if they were going to talk to me like that and become physical. .
I would just herd their feathered behinds into the house so I could change the water in peace.
I feared I would be attacked from behind while bending over with the water jugs.
So. .I put them inside. They grumbled and called me lots of dirty words. Then they got silent.
I should've known they were up to something. . . they are just like an angry woman. When she finally stops talking. . you better be scared.
Just as I was about to reach the door with the pan of icky grimy dux poo stinky water to dump it out. .
They all erupted at once in unison QUACK QUACK QUACK SNACK ATTACK! QUACK!
It startled me so bad I went to the moon.
And lost my grip with one hand on the water pan.
And poured at least 2 gallons of toxic dux waste water down my right leg and into my fuzzy boot.
It was so cold and gross. .and I had already had a bad day. I almost cried.
But I didn't. .. I still had dog chores to do and I had no time for that kind of nonsense. So I pulled up my big girl britches and sloshed on.
Ralphie is right. Dux are dangerous. I'm a believer!
