No new goats yet! They were just born mid January so they won’t be home until mid March, though we do have two that should be coming home anytime now.

Meanwhile it’s just these crazies.

I got all of my outside chores done just in time I guess, because it’s just now starting to sprinkle. I didn’t think we were getting rain but I’ll take it so I don’t have to water the blueberry bushes.
is the cat a baby sitter for goats.lol

Also @Miss Lydia I can't comfortably carry the full size 1911...it's like carrying a brick in your purse. I do like most .38s for carry though!

And @Trimurtisan ...you have no clue how close Joe Dirt is to the locals where I am!! There's this one older gentleman, sweet as can be, big around as a barn... Each time we see him he's dressed in Pointer overalls and a white V Neck...some sort of redneck hat...then he smiles and speaks and has maybe 2 teeth. Next time I run into him I will come up with a clever excuse for a selfie! 😂 He is the definition of a hillbilly!!

But not me of couse...😁😂

Agree with that @donkeydew2farms !! My one experience with it, trying to drape it on my veggie garden was a disaster. The only thing it stopped was me!!

Poultry netting is awful. I put some over a smaller temporary run before we built our big one, and I swear every stick that's ever been on our property int he last 20 years ended up tangled in that dang thing while trying to put it up. We went with a much thicker commercial grade aviary netting when we constructed the permanent run because I couldn't take another round of that, lol!

I just candled all of our chicken eggs. We went from 92 eggs to 61. That's not horrible considering they're all shipped. I kind of like the mystery of the gamble. Will you get chicks? Won't you? Will they all hatch and be roos? (Probably.)

I started with 26 serama eggs, now down to 10. So I'm the most bummed about that, but knew it would be a possibility. Every single crested cream leg bar and Isbar egg is developing, so 100% fertility rate from that seller. I don't know that I've ever had that happen.

That’s what dh said we will look for , my little Rugar is not too heavy but the safety comes off easy I don’t like that,I carry it when the dogs an I hike too my son says it wouldn’t do much but it might give me a chance.
Even a 22 makes people do the FIBS dance.
