The Quack Shack

It’s a blast. Ever watched it on TV? I did it for fun not competition. I did compete in dog obedience back in the mid 80-90’s that’s fun too.

Yesss!!! And even been to a couple agility trials and a few dog shows haha I love watching that stuff!! :D

Also we use to watch sheep herding with border collies that was interesting I think it was on PBS. Dogs works so well with humans. I’ve never seen dogs working with ducks I bet that would be fun too.

What a cute pupper! Are those kinds of dogs considered livestock guardians, or herd dogs?
I've read about people using them as livestock guardians, and for herding but they are mostly hunting dogs. They where breed to hunt hogs in the bayou of Louisiana.

Morning all!

It's hatch day for incubator #1! Well, technically it's supposed to be tomorrow, but there are some seramas with pips this morning, so I'm sure we'll get a couple of "early birds" today. See what I did there? Okay, I'm done being corny.

The third egg under the silkies hatched this morning... and the jack hole silkies completely refused it. I found it wet, cold and abandoned on the other side of the coop, tried to give it back to them and they kept pecking at her. Jackhole silkies...

I brought it inside and put it in the incubator. Since I have other seramas hatching today as well, hopefully it'll dry off fine in the incubator and encourage the other guys to come on out.

Has she been around chickens Chris or only through fencing?
I don't know yet. I'm still waiting on a call back. :(
I gave him a link to this thread in case he wanted to use it for a character reference. Maybe he just stalking us all. To see what we're like. ;)

When you're too short to reach the hay feeder, you just hop right in!
