What a cute pupper! Are those kinds of dogs considered livestock guardians, or herd dogs?

I'm currently trying to talk myself out of getting a livestock guardian for the goats/chickens. I know it's a lot of work and training, and I've never trained a dog for that purpose before.
These are hunting dogs. They are bred to hunt feral hogs. Tough dogs but need lots and lots of activity.

Also we use to watch sheep herding with border collies that was interesting I think it was on PBS. Dogs works so well with humans. I’ve never seen dogs working with ducks I bet that would be fun too.
I remember as a little girl going to the local show (fair) one of the kids entertainments was a bloke and his border collie herding ducks through an obstacle course. They would walk over a little bridge and everything. I asked my husband if I could use one of his dogs to put the chickens away of a night and he said they are too full on

I love to watch the frisbee acts people do with their dogs! Ladybug, my dog that passed, was obsessed with frisbee. She was really good at catching them in the air and would do flips and catch them if you tossed it straight up 😲
The humans on those shows must be pretty talented to throw it just where it needs to go also!!

Agreed!! Super impressive!! Also all those trick videos people make on YouTube and the musical free style stuff haha
