It’s nice isn’t it to let them all be together. I got to sit out with mine tonight my birds got to have their pool for the first time in close to a week so they had the best time bathing. I had to keep topping off the water they were enjoying so much. How about the Pekins Chris?

I have multiple male and female ducks and chickens that live together with no problem. They eat and sleep together just fine.

I wouldn't think it'd be much different that chickens. Especially if you're not keeping water and food in there. The Shack here doesn't have windows. The roof is not "sealed to the building...." I'm not a builder, not sure how to word it, but there's passive ventilation.

Plus I run 2 extraction fans when it's hot. One is 190cfm and the other if 444cfm.

The fans might not be a bad idea for those hot summer nights. Between the four windows we cut out plus the 6" gap between the walls and the tin roof, we have 16 sq ft of ventilation. All that's left to do now is paint the rest of the trim and attach it, and of course finish out the windows with hardware cloth. I'm thinking I may put hardware cloth or something in the 6" gaps at the top of the shack, too. I'm terrified of a coon climbing in.

If you look closely, you can see my cats acting a fool in almost every shot. It's like Where's Waldo - Farm Edition.

I know I didn't know what to expect...not sure you can tell but they have a little bit of yellow here and there and the rest of the fluff is silver/blue I need @Pyxis to translate!!

Not sure how many will be keepers, I did offer some to a lady on Craigslist hoping to get into ducks but....these are so stinking cute!! May have to back out of that one Hate to do that though but....TSC ducklings need homes too

Home from work today with two more babies, straight run so my luck they'll be roosters. One's a Welsummer, so I'll be able to tell the gender after taking a good look at it but I'm not wanting to stress it out. The other is a silver laced wyandotte.

I say as much ventalation as possible for ducks. Even if you don't put water in the house they are always wet. Creating lots of steam.
They handle cold well they just need to get out of the wind and drafts. Put windows up high.
