The entire Holy Week feels off to me.

No Palm Sunday service, we only had a small internet meeting..

No Lenten service on Wednesday, no Maundy Thursday service, nothing on Good Friday, and no Church again today.

Add to that no activity in the kitchen, no ham or turkey baking smells. No grandkids all excited over the “Easter Bunny” being here.

No little grandkids teasing Grandpa, no older ones rolling their eyes and saying “oh Grandpa” letting me know I can’t possible know what they are going through.

We have different rules in each state what we can and can’t do, which adds to the confusion.

Some of us, like myself, are in the “high risk” group, but still can’t help thinking politicians are simply playing politics and taking advantage of a bad situation for their own benefit.

Remembering the portion of the first amendment which states

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”

I feel violated and can only say “ Our Father who art in heaven......”


I try to keep my politics and religion out of here, but today I just had an overwhelming need to get this off my chest..

I should clarify with this one (since it’s really random and weird and you might be confused ) that I started saving eggs yesterday.

That’s what that lone egg is.

I hope there’s more EE ones out there today.

They’ve actually been laying at least 6 a day sometimes more but only the EE ones are fertile cause they all hate him.

Actually, there’s normally lay 2-3 EE ones and yesterday there was only one.... maybe they went on strike.

I need to move him.

Got plenty of other omelette eggs though.
